Roseneath re-interprets local heritage through a bold, textural lens. Situated in Clifton Hill, the home is anchored by a dark brick palette that offers a modern counterpoint to the traditional streetscape.

The masonry is expressive rather than just structural; by shifting between hit-and-miss screening and soldier coursing, we created a facade that actively modulates light and shadow. Internally, a central staircase functions as a light well, drawing daylight deep into the heart of the plan. This core organises the home vertically, grounding social spaces that flow seamlessly into the garden while elevating the private sleeping quarters above.
